A six-year-old boy who was snatched from his Canberra school's playground by his mother last week has been found.
The boy and his mother, Tessa Woodcock, were discovered by police in remote bushland in Tallaganda National Park, one hour outside Canberra, at around 4.40pm yesterday, Nine News reports.
Ms Woodcock did not have legal custody of the child.
It comes after an Amber Alert was issued yesterday - the first of its kind for the ACT territory.
Ms Woodcock will face court in Queanbeyan today on a number of charges, including unlawfully taking away a child under the age of 12.
