Pedestrian seriously injured after being struck by motorbike in Remuera, Auckland

A pedestrian has been left hospitalised after being struck by a motobrike in Remuera, Auckland.

Police say the incident occurred on Remuera Road this afternoon.

One person has sustained serious injuries and has been transported to Auckland Hospital.

Cordons are in places at Omahu and Remuera Roads and Armadale and Remuera Roads.

Police advise motorists to avoid the area if possible.
