They’re often located at airports - but is that the best place? (Source: Other)

Kiwis love talking about the weather, but what about the instruments that give official temperature readings - and how accurate are they?

In Whangarei, Auckland, Tauranga and Christchurch, the temperature is read from the airport.

But is this the best location to take a temperature reading?
