Video: 'The boys loving it' – Konrad Hurrell gifts Tongan U20 players boots from Titans teammates

NRL star Konrad Hurrell shared a touching video online last night of the moment he donated rugby boots to the Tongan under-20s rugby side in the Gold Coast.

The Titans centre had asked his NRL teammates for help, with his Gold Coast buddies more than happy to gift their second hand boots for the aspiring Tongan rugby players.

"The boys loving it," Hurrell posted on his Instagram story yesterday.

In the video you can see players trying on different boots donated by the Titans.

Hurrell and Queensland Reds star prop Taniela Tupou attended the Tongan under 20s Oceania Rugby fixture against Australia and were supported on the sidelines at Bond University Oval in the Gold Coast on Tuesday night.

The Junior Wallabies side were too good for the Tongan team defeating the visitors 91-7.
