Blues hooker James Parsons is taking no notice of social media outrage towards his struggling team, following another season of under performance from the team.
Languishing towards the bottom of the Super Rugby ladder, and dead last in the New Zealand conference, the Blues last weekend claimed the unwanted tag of being the first Kiwi side to lose to the Jaguares, going down 13-20 on a miserable night at Eden Park.
Speaking at Blues training today, Parsons insisted he was paying no notice of the criticism coming his side's way.
"People have got their opinions, and they're entitled to it," he said.
"At the end of the day, I'm a rugby player - and I'm paid to be a rugby player. I'm not too worried about what people think.
"My old man once said to me (that) it's just one man's opinion.
"If someone gives you good feedback, it's just one man's opinion - you don't want to get too far ahead of yourself, and negative likewise."
