Forget Uber – how about karaoke in a cab?

With Uber often being the cheapest way to get around town taxi drivers need that special X-factor to stand out from the crowd. One Auckland taxi driver has stepped up to the plate by offering karaoke in his cab.

Bob Ivanovich offers you the chance to sing your favourite song, sung at the top of your lungs while you get home.

The eccentric driver has been offering the service for years and it's a real hit with his clientele.

"He's been driving us for the last four years, and he's just so reliable," one satisfied customer said.

"So, so much fun," exclaimed another.

The man himself enjoys his taxi rides almost as much as his customers.

"Happiness is the most important thing for me. I make people happy. And I make myself happy."
