A person is wanted by police after they fled police in a car in Christchurch in an instance of "totally unacceptable" and "ludicrous driving".
Police say the driver of a white Subaru Impreza drove at two police officers attempting to lay road spikes on QE2 Drive, near Marshland Road, around 12:20pm today.
The driver had failed to stop for police and was pursued for a short time before police abandoned the pursuit.
"This is totally unacceptable behaviour," says Sergeant Chris Baker.
"A number of people witnessed the ludicrous driving by the offender, and Police ask them to please get in touch."
