Kendrick Lamar's Auckland show sells out in minutes, second show announced

Tickets for Kendrick Lamar’s Auckland show in July sold out within minutes.

The Grammy award winning rapper is playing July 19 at Spark Arena as part of his DAMN world tour.

Tickets, which ranged in price from $150 to $630, were snapped up within minutes after going sale at 12pm.

A second show has since been announced for the following day.

He is playing a second show in Dunedin on July 17, with tickets for both shows going on sale at 1pm.

The widely-acclaimed rapper recently made history as the first non-classical or jazz artist to win the Pulitzer Prize for music.
