A team of experts will meet in Greymouth today to formulate a re-entry plan for the Pike River mine.

The four day workshop has been organised by the Pike River Recovery Agency which was only established by the government late last year.

It aims to develop a detailed plan outlining any risks and equipment needs to meet labour's plan on a manned re-entry by March next year.
