A Piha resident has caught on camera a "raging torrent" of water streaming down the road near his property this afternoon.
Willie Beggs posted the video to his Facebook page of flood water rushing near his property completely flooding the road near Kitekite Falls in West Auckland.
Heavy rain has caused river levels to rise in the area causing flooding in the small township and other parts of West Auckland today .
Earlier today, flooding caused those at Piha Mill Camp to evacuate and move to higher ground.

Some homes were badly flooded, with some Piha residents saying they were left standing in half a metre of water.
Fire services were going through homes and checking up on homeowners following the incident.
