It's one of the highlights of life in the Commonwealth Games athletes' village - the food hall.
For first-time Kiwi weightlifter Vester Villalon, it's currently a source of torment, however.
Villalon told reporters during a tour of New Zealand's Gold Coast base he was laying off the treats in a bid to shed further weight before he competes.
"The food hall is currently off limits to me," he ruefully told 1 NEWS' Abby Wilson.
"I got another kilo and a half to lose so I just stand in front of the desserts for five minutes before I walk away."
Villalon will lift in the 69kg class on Friday, weight permitting.
