The Warriors have reportedly been sold to Hawaiian businessman Richard Fale.
Fale has brought together a consortium featuring current and former NFL players to purchase the Kiwi NRL franchise from Eric Watson.
1 NEWS understands the club has been sold by Watson for $22 million with an announcement expected in the next couple of days.

The journey to this point between Fale and the Warriors has been rough during the negotiation phase, with Fale threatening to walk out multiple times after feeling he was being hustled by Watson.
When Fale visited New Zealand a few weeks ago for negotiations, he was blindsided by Watson during negotiations when the current owner upped his price suddenly.
"Even though we could afford to pay double what they're asking, as a matter of values and principles, we're not going to allow ourselves to get walked over," Fale said at the time.
"We offered a price higher than what was previously asked and then they wanted to play games. We're not doing that."
The deal has fallen in to place thanks to the consortium agreeing to a purchase structure which will be finalised by a deposit that 1 NEWS understands will be made in the next couple of days.
Should the deal go through, Fale's group will require approval from the NRL to purchase the club but no issues would be expected.
