Joseph Parker has lost his WBO title in his unification bout to Anthony Joshua this morning by unanimous decision.
Parker and Joshua squared off in Principality Stadium in Cardiff in front of 80,000 fans where the British boxer came away as the champion.
Parker's record falls to 24-1 while Joshua moves to 21-0.
The judges favoured Joshua's strategy of fighting on the outside with jabs and straights and as a result, scored the fight 118-110 118-110 118-109.
It's the first time in Joshua's career he hasn't secured a victory by knockout.
Parker shone in the middle of the fight, winning the fifth and sixth round as he found ways to break through the jabbing attack and land combinations to the body.
But Joshua fought back, adjusting his approach to keep Parker at bay as he held the centre of the ring for the entire fight.
Joshua said in his victory interview he would now target Deontaye Wilder to win the WBC title and become the unified champion.
Parker remained humble in defeat.
"Today, I got beaten by the better champion, the better man.
"No regrets, I had an opportunity. If I get another opportunity, I'll work harder and throw more punches."
Parker said hr would return to become a world champion again.
