A group of Windsurfers who got into difficulty in Wellington Harbour are all safely accounted for.
An event organiser told 1 NEWS a couple of less experienced windsurfers got into difficulty but were picked up by the rescue teams who were along side them the whole race.
They say windsurfers are currently being escorted by safety boats back to both Petone and Eastbourne beaches. At this stage there have been no reported injuries.
