It's not often players get to go face-to-face with their critics but when James Parsons saw his opportunity to challenge a 1 NEWS Sport reporter, he didn't hesitate.
Parsons was about to begin his captain's interview ahead of the Blues' clash with the Sharks this weekend when he admitted he was feeling hot at training.
1 NEWS Sports' Stephen Stuart saw it as a chance to poke at Parsons, asking whether he was feeling the heat after the side's loss 37-20 loss to the Stormers two weeks ago.

Parsons, however, was quick to snap back at Stuart - highlighting his comments and selections in the 1 NEWS NOW Super Rugby Picks competition so far this season.
"That's enough out of you," Parosns laughed.
"You pick us this week or what? You and Sav bagging us again?"
After some joking and apologies, Parsons went on to say the Blues were looking to make amends this week against their third South African opponent in three matches.
"I think if we can cherish that ball and build pressure through phases that should nullify a lot of the things that went wrong against the Stormers."
