Plunket has confirmed a restructure of its Central Region Team with 33 management and administration roles to be disestablished and 18 new roles created.
After a review of the region earlier this year it decided to create one team, based in Wellington and Hamilton, opposed to four operating areas.
Plunket Chief Executive Amanda Malu says there will be better results for families and volunteers by bringing the teams together.
Plunket says there will be no change to community services as a result of the restructure.
It comes after 1 NEWS revealed concerns from parents over the national restructure last year of Plunket which has seen the organisation transfer money and assets out of small communities and into a central national fund.
