New Zealander Sam Stuchbury has been named in the Forbes' list of 30 Under 30 Asia under the 'media, marketing and advertising' category.

The list features 600 young stars in 20 different industries.

The 27-year-old founded Motion Sickness whilst studying at the University of Otago, and has become the only New Zealander included on the list this year.

Now based in Auckland, he is now the creative director and founder at Motion Sickness and co-founder of The Social Club.

His company now employs eight full time staff with a handful of contractors.

Mr Stuchbury says his time at the University of Otago helped him realise his skill set and learn where to apply it.

"We had freedom to work on projects that allow you the ability to figure out what you like and what you are good at - that is what I liked the most," Mr Stuchbury says.

In July he will head to Hong Kong for the Forbes 30 Under 30 summit.
