A Mongrel Mob pad in the Kawerau, Bay of Plenty has been raided today as part of a large police operation targeting organised crime and drugs.
The gang pad that was raided was in Kawerau, NZ Herald reports.
Police say a large number of search warrants will be executed at properties in Kawerau, Whakatane and Opotiki as well as a small number at addresses in Gisborne and Hastings.
The public can expect to see a significant police presence in these areas, police say.
