After weeks of back and forth Hayley Holt's battle with Ed Sheeran looks to have finally come to an end with the UK pop star sending her a gift.
On Saturday night Sheeran sported an All Blacks jersey with 'Holt' written on the back for his concert in Auckland.
The outfit came after the TVNZ1 Breakfast host shared some scathing criticism of Sheeran earlier this month, not only criticising the mural of him in Dunedin, but also calling him boring, saying he did "her head in".
Then on yesterday's show, Holt decided to wear an Ed Sheeran T-shirt, copping some flak from her fellow presenters, who claimed she was sucking up to the singer.
Today the battle ended as Sheeran sent Holt the All Blacks jersey he wore with her name on the back, accompanied by a letter.
"Dear Hayley! Here's the All Blacks top I used to suck up on my first Auckland show," reads the letter.
"Keep on being you, and **** what anyone else says, you rock."
Holt responded by declaring Ed the winner.
"I think Ed wins this round, I think he won the earlier rounds, I'm pretty sure he won all of the rounds."
