Kiwi heavyweight Joseph Parker has spoken about his heritage to fans in London, welcomed at New Zealand House this morning.
At a gathering for Parker to meet his UK-based New Zealand fans, the fighter was asked to explain why he fights as both a Kiwi and a Samoan.
"I was born in New Zealand, South Auckland," he began.
"Both my parents were born in Samoa, they moved to New Zealand for a better future."
"Obviously I was born in New Zealand, but I'm a proud Kiwi-Samoan."
Both nations will be cheering Parker on when he meets Anthony Joshua in Sunday's massive world title fight in Cardiff.
