Helicopter

A helicopter carrying two people has crashed at Wanaka Airport.

Police were called to the scene at 11.28am.

The two people in the helicopter were not injured, according to police.

The incident occurred off the runway so the airport remains open. 

The Civil Aviation Authority has been advised.
