Person rescued from house fire in Motueka

Fire crews have rescued one person from a house fire in Motueka this morning.

They were taken to Nelson Hospital in a moderate condition.

A Fire spokesperson said they received a call about 4:45am saying a property on Poole Street was well ablaze.

The house has collapsed and fire crews are dampening down the structure.
