Woman in critical condition after being pulled from the water in Auckland's CBD

A woman has been taken to hospital in a critical condition after being pulled from the water in Auckland's CBD.

Members of the public helped get the woman out of the water and onto a boat near Quay St around 3:45pm.

She was treated by paramedics at Princess Wharf and taken to hospital in an ambulance.

Police are currently talking to witnesses to establish what has occurred.
