Two people are injured, one seriously, following a police chase in Auckland this morning. 

Police told 1 NEWS a car was seen going 150km/h down the Southern Motorway. 

Police followed the car up Ladies Mile before turning onto Marua Road in the suburb of Ellerslie. 

The car lost control and crashed into a power pole and parked car. 

Police said the Serious Crash Unit are now investigating.
