All Blacks to face Springboks in their first Rugby World Cup 2019 match in Japan

The All Blacks' first fixture at the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan will be up against old rivals South Africa.

The draw was announced by World Rugby tonight in Japan.

The All Blacks are in Pool B with South Africa, Italy, Africa 1 qualifier and the repechage winner.

New Zealand will face the Springboks at Kanagawa Yokohama Stadium on Saturday 21 September at 6.45pm Japan time.

Their second match will be against the repechage winner at Oita Stadium on 2 October at 7.15pm Japan time.

New Zealand's third match will be against Africa 1 at the Tokyo National Stadium on Sunday 6 October at 1.45pm.

They will complete pool play against Italy at the City of Toyota Stadium in Aichi on 12 October at 1.45pm.

The RWC's opening match will feature host nation Japan against the Europe 1 qualifier at Tokyo Stadium on 20 September 2019.

South Africa, September 21, 6.45pm (NZ Time - 10.45pm) at Kanagawa Yokohama Stadium.

Repechage Winner, October 2, 7.15pm (NZ Time - 11.15pm) at Oita Stadium.

Africa 1, October 6, 1.45pm (NZ Time - 5.45pm) at Tokyo National Stadium.

Italy, October 12, 1.45pm (NZ Time - 5.45pm) at City of Toyota Stadium.
