Mate Ma'a Tonga skipper Sika Manu has pleaded with both Toa Samoa and Tongan fans to "keep the peace"following a violent all-in brawl in South Auckland yesterday.
Manu and his Tongan rugby league teammates posted a video on social media calling for Pacific fans to come together as one.
"Hey what's up guys this is the Mate Ma'a Tonga team - just a message to our toko's (brothers) and uso's (brothers) out there, please keep the peace," said Manu.
"We're all from the islands – let's keep the peace."
The rest of the Tongan team shouted "toko - uso" at the end of the video.
The message comes after a shocking video surfaced on Facebook yesterday of Tongan and Samoan fans fighting in Otahuhu, ahead of their teams' Rugby League World Cup match in Hamilton this Sunday.
One video, shows a group of young men brawling in the streets near the the corner of Great South Road and Avenue Road, Otahuhu.
The young men are holding Samoan and Tongan flags, trading blows as onlookers can be heard screaming in the background.
