A terrifying aborted landing by a commercial Polish passenger jet has been captured on video showing the wing of the plane almost hitting the runway tarmac as it sways dramatically during descent.
On Sunday as the Enter Air flight came in to land at Salzburg Airport in Austria, 80km/h crosswinds caused the jet to touchdown on the runway totally lopsided.
With one of the wheels touching down briefly, the jet then bounces back up off the runway.
The pilot then decides to abort the landing and ascend again into the air.
Euronews reported the pilot was forced to fly the plane back to Frankfurt due to the winds at Salzburg Airport, where passengers had boarded less than an hour beforehand.
