Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has welcomed the President of Bosnia and Herzegovina at Parliament today.
Dragan Covic's visit marks 25 years of diplomatic relations between New Zealand and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"Can I on behalf of New Zealand extend our warmest welcome to you," Ms Ardern said as she greeted Mr Covic, who's his country's head of state.
"It's timely that you're here now to mark the 25th anniversary of our official diplomatic relationship so warmest welcomes," she said.
This morning Mr Covic met with the Governor General Dame Patsy Reddy and attended a wreath laying Ceremony in the Hall of Memories at Pukeahu National War Memorial Park.
A State Lunch was held for him at Government House.
Mr Covic arrived in New Zealand yesterday and his visit concludes tomorrow.
