Joseph Parker is confident of victory against British heavyweight Anthony Joshua, after his victory over Carlos Takam in Cardiff this morning.
Joshua, 28, defeated Takam by knockout in controversial fashion, retaining his IBF, IBO and WBA titles in the process.
Speaking to NZME, WBO title holder Parker made it clear that he rates his chances against the undefeated Joshua.
"The more I watch him the more I want to fight him," he said.
"The more I see of him the more I think 'damn, if I fought this guy I'd knock him out'."
Parker's handlers Duco Events have met with Joshua's team, with the Brit eager for a title fight for early next year .
The Kiwi echoed the sentiments, saying he was equally looking forward to a match up.
"I've said it many times. I'd love to fight Joshua so I can show what I've got. He's good - he's big, strong and learning, but I think he's just average, he's robotic."
