A bus load of passengers in Poland have had a lucky escape, after the bus they were riding on became trapped on a railway crossing as a massive train sped towards them.
Around 40 people were on the bus when it narrowly avoided disaster near Warsaw last Tuesday.
Surveillance footage of the incident posted to YouTube shows an impatient bus driver ignoring the flashing warning lights at a railway crossing, attempting to drive over the tracks before the safety barriers come down.
The bus makes it past the first barriers, but becomes trapped by the next set of barriers, stranding the bus and leaving its back end hanging over the tracks.
The driver then gets out to asses the situation when he notices a speeding train hurtling towards them.
Passengers are then seen fleeing the bus for their lives as the driver frantically waves at the train to try and stop it, but to no avail, with it slamming into the back of the stricken bus.
Luckily everyone had evacuated from the back of the bus when the train hit and no-one was injured.
