Steven Adams and his new teammates appear to have found some synergy heading into the new NBA season, as the big Kiwi and superstars Paul George and Carmelo Anthony put on a show in the OKC Thunder team scrimmage this morning.
With Westbrook not partaking in the scrimmages for personal reasons, the other two superstars were given a chance to work with Adams and they didn't disappoint.
Early in the exhibition game, George and Adams combined for a clean slam dunk after George bounce-passed to his open centre in the paint.
George finished the game with 30 points on six-for-eight shooting from behind the three-point line while Adams added 13 points on five-for-five shooting.
Adams also snagged six rebounds and three assists in the scrimmage.
Anthony notched 11 points with eight rebounds and five assists in the game against the Thunder reserves.
OKC play their first game of the regular season against the New York Knicks on October 20 NZT.
