All Blacks lock Brodie Retallick has been ruled out of next week’s Springboks Test in South Africa Test due to a personal family matter.
Retallick will stay in New Zealand with his partner Niki who has had a miscarriage.
All Blacks coach Steve Hansen shared a special message for Retallick and his partner in a post-match interview after his side's Test match against Argentina.
"A big shout out to Brods (Brodie) and Nik at home, we are all thinking of ya," Hansen told SKY Sports.
"We send our love."
The All Blacks also sent out a statement earlier this afternoon.
"Brodie and his wife Niki have lost their baby boy prematurely, which is incredibly sad news. We're really feeling for them at this sad time and our thoughts are with them and their families," said Hansen.
"As a result, Brodie will stay home with Niki and rejoin the team when the time is right."
