Canada scraps alcohol ban for those paddling canoes or kayaks

The Canadian government has relaxed rules around legal alcohol limits, not in cars, but in canoes and kayaks. 

It was illegal for people to be operating a boat, including canoes and kayaks, while under the influence of alcohol. 

Now the government is set to relax the law, so that muscle-powered vessels are exempt.
