Liam Lawson was given a scare by Ferrari star Lewis Hamilton during practice at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix overnight, the Kiwi ace narrowly avoiding hitting the back of his rival.
During second practice, the Racing Bulls driver was behind Hamilton during the long back straight when the latter began to slow heading into a turn in a bid to recharge his battery.
It forced Lawson to act quickly to avoid a collision, the Kiwi clearly rattled as he exclaimed "that is so f***ing dangerous, oh my god," over his radio.
Hamilton was later handed a reprimand for impeding.
Lawson was 12th overall in practice, having returned to Racing Bulls after a three-race stint as injury cover in Isack Hadjar's Red Bull.
Qualifying is at 12am Saturday and the race at 11pm the same day.
