A search is ongoing for a woman reported missing near Queenstown's Coronet Peak last week.
Brazilian national Erika Rodrigues Coelho was last seen on Friday, September 18, but was reported to the police as missing on Sunday, September 20.
Senior Sergeant John Fookes said volunteers, Coastguard Queenstown, drones and a helicopter had assisted police in the search for the missing 47-year-old.
"Coastguard Queenstown's underwater drone has been used by one of their volunteers to search a mountain tarn near Skippers Saddle," he said.
"Land Search and Rescue volunteers have spent hundreds of hours searching the Shotover, Devil’s Creek, and other nearby catchments, as well as points of interest and routes that could have been taken by Erika from where the vehicle was left."
Police discovered Coelho's rental car, a Toyota RAV4, at Skippers Saddle near Coronet Peak on September 21.
Coelho was last seen wearing a black hat, tan brown puffer jacket, black tights, and hiking boots.
Police urged anyone with any information to come forward.
"We want to stress that even the smallest amount of information can make a huge difference to our investigation and finding Erika," Fookes said.
Anyone who has seen Coelho since September 18 or saw the white Toyota RAV4 on Friday or the days leading up to it was asked to contact police on 105.
"Any sightings of her in the moment should be reported by calling 111 immediately."
