A 17-year-old has been arrested and charged after two people were injured in an assault in Auckland's Clendon Park.
Counties Manukau CIB Detective Senior Sergeant Kevin Tiernan said officers were called to Kopu Place after reports two people had been injured just before 10pm.
"One person was transported to hospital in a critical condition, and a second person in a serious condition," he said.
Tiernan said this was an "isolated incident and those involved are known to each other".
A 17-year-old male was arrested at the scene.

He would appear in Manukau Youth Court today, charged with wounding with intent to injure and wounding with reckless disregard.
St John has been contacted for comment.
