Carla Jeffery, an actor best known for her role as Bree in Disney’s Zombies franchise, has died aged 33.
In a statement online, Jeffery's talent agency, Alexander's Talent Management, confirmed she died on September 1. A cause of death was not stated.
"Carla was more than a client; she was family," the agency wrote.
"Our hearts are with Carla’s family and loved ones during this devastating time."
The agency said "watching her grow from a talented young girl into the beautiful, vibrant woman and actress she became was an incredible privilege".
The Houston-born actress appeared on 10 episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000) in Season 6 and Season 7, according to her IMDB page.
She also appeared in shows including iCarly, Southland, Good Luck Charlie, Shake It Up and American Vandal.
She went on to star as Bree, one of the central characters in Disney’s Zombies franchise, a musical trilogy about a high school zombie and human cheerleader who fall in love.
Known for her spark and humour, Jeffery served as a loyal friend to main character Addison (Meg Donnelly), and became a fan favourite across the film series and its animated spinoff.
"We will remember her infectious smile, her laughter, her talent and the beautiful light she carried everywhere she went," the post from Alexander’s Talent Management said.
