American singer-songwriter Bruno Mars has given Kiwi fans something to treasure, with the superstar set to return to New Zealand for a one-off show next year.
Mars will play Auckland's Eden Park on March 13, 2027, joined by Grammy-winning South African artist Tyla as a special guest.
Anderson .Paak, who performed alongside Mars as part of musical duo Silk Sonic, would also appear as DJ Pee .Wee.
The Auckland concert was among 26 new stadium shows for Mars' The Romantic Tour announced across Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
Mars last toured New Zealand in 2018, when he bought his 24K Magic World Tour to Auckland's Spark Arena for four sold-out shows.
Next year's event would be supported by the Government's one-off Events Attraction Package.
“It’s fantastic to see global superstar Bruno Mars bringing his tour to New Zealand," Tourism and Hospitality Minister Louise Upston said.
"Major international concerts like this attract visitors from around New Zealand and overseas, providing a welcome economic boost for local businesses and communities."
Ticket presales begin at 11am on September 2, before the general tickets go on sale at 11am on September 4.
He first rose to prominence with songs including Just The Way You Are, The Lazy Song and Grenade, before going on to release hits such as Locked Out Of Heaven, Uptown Funk and 24K Magic to cement himself as one of the world's biggest pop stars.
Mars recently enjoyed chart-topping success with the lead single I Just Might for his new album The Romantic.
