Four people have been arrested after a fight broke out on Auckland's Queen Street last night, leaving one person seriously injured.
Police were called to the intersection of Queen St and Wellesley St East about 6.40pm on Sunday following reports of a group fighting.
Two people were taken to hospital by ambulance. A St John spokesperson said one patient was in a serious condition and the other in a moderate condition.
One rapid response unit and two ambulances attended the scene.
The other two people involved were taken into custody. Police said charges were pending.
