A man has been charged with indecent assault following alleged offending at a west Auckland therapy clinic.
The male aged in his 40s was described as offering services, including acupuncture and holistic therapy, from a clinic in the Glen Eden area.
Waitematā West Area Investigations Manager Detective Senior Sergeant Ryan Bunting said he has been charged with two counts of indecent assault.
The man remained before the Auckland District Court, to reappear in September.
Bunting said "reporting incidents of this nature can be difficult, and support is available".
"Police acknowledge the courage of those who have come forward," he said.
Anyone who may have had a similar experience, or who has information that could assist the investigation, was urged to make contact with police through 105.
"Even if you are unsure whether what occurred was an offence, police encourage you to come forward so the matter can be assessed," Bunting said.
