The son of popular game show host Bradley Walsh has been banned from driving for six months — and fined — following a speeding violation in the UK.
Barney Walsh starred alongside his father in six series of the road-trip show Breaking Dad, and the pair also host popular BBC programme Gladiators.
A practical joker on the travel series, the 28-year-old came to the attention of authorities on October 27 when he was caught driving 8km/h over a temporary speed limit in place at junction 19 westbound on the M4 in South Gloucestershire, near Bristol.
Walsh was travelling at 93km/h through the 80km/h zone when his 2023 Mercedes-Benz SUV was captured on speed cameras, the BBC reports.

A minor speeding offence of this nature in the UK typically resulted in three penalty points — however, a lawyer representing Walsh said he already had nine penalty points against his licence.
Walsh did not attend the hearing at Romford Magistrates' Court, but lawyer Gwyn Lewis said a disqualification was "inevitable" as motorists with 12 or more penalty points are usually banned from driving.
"I'm not instructed to resist the disqualification and he has been told he is not to drive from last night," he told the BBC.
Walsh was also ordered to pay a total of £185 (NZ$425) in financial penalties comprising three separate elements.
These included a £72 (NZ$165) fixed penalty notice for the speeding offence itself, along with a £28 (NZ$64) victim surcharge and £85 (NZ$195) towards prosecution costs.
