Police have renewed calls for information in the search for missing Christchurch woman Rowena Walker, nearly eight months after she was last seen.
The 39-year-old was last captured on CCTV on August 15, on Bassett St in Christchurch alongside an associate.
Detective Senior Sargeant Jo Carolan said inquiries remained ongoing as officers continued to follow multiple lines of investigations.
"We know she travelled often, and in our efforts, we have searched in several districts including Waikato, Tasman, and Canterbury. Unfortunately, we have not been able to locate Rowena, Carolan said.
"Rowena has not been in contact with her children since she went missing, and as her 40th birthday approaches, her family are now desperately worried for her safety.
“If you know anything, no matter how small you think it may be, it may be the piece in the puzzle we need to locate Rowena.”
Police thanked members of the public for their assistance with the investigations so far.
Anyone with relevant information was encouraged to contact police via 105 referencing file number 251022/9026.
