Blues players will be sporting special hair styles in support of teammate Cameron Suafoa for this weekend’s big game against the Hurricanes.
The 27-year-old announced his retirement last week after revealing his cancer has returned and is now terminal.
The other players have got buzz cuts or dyed their hair blonde in a show of unity for him.
Suafoa stopped by training today, giving a lift to his teammates as they practised in wet conditions.
“It's awesome to see him out today especially on a rainy day," said loose forward Malachi Wrampling.

"He's got a few appointments this week and just shows the love for his team he has, and the love we have for him as well. It's awesome to see him here, it's real morale-boosting."
Auckland-born Suafoa was diagnosed with sarcoma, an aggressive form of cancer which affects connective tissue in the back, in November 2023.
He returned to rugby in May 2024 after he was declared cancer-free, playing six matches with the Blues in their campaign that year, but received a second cancer diagnosis in 2025.
The Blues face the Canes in a top of the table clash on Saturday night in Wellington.
