Two women have been arrested after a woman was allegedly robbed and kidnapped in her own vehicle outside a mall in East Auckland this week.
Sergeant Dean Batey said the incident occurred on Chapel Rd outside Botany Town Centre on Tuesday.
"Following police inquiries, officers have arrested and charged two women in relation to the incident," he said.
A 20-year-old and a 32-year-old were both due in Manukau District Court tomorrow, facing charges of kidnapping, aggravated robbery, and injuring with intent to injure.
