A man has been charged with murder after two people were found dead at a property in Hamilton yesterday.
Police were called at around 4pm after the discovery of two bodies at an address on York Street in the city's east.
"Later in the evening, an injured man presented himself at hospital, and officers connected the man to the deaths," Detective Inspector Stephen Ambler.
A 34-year-old man would appear in the Hamilton District Court tomorrow on two charges of murder.
"Police would like to reassure the community that this was an isolated incident, and we are not looking for anyone else in relation to the matter," Ambler said.
