Police are investigating after two people were found dead at a property in Hamilton yesterday.
Police were called at around 4pm after the discovery of two bodies at an address on York Street in the city's east.
"Enquiries into what exactly has occurred at the address are ongoing, however at this stage the deaths are being treated as unexplained," Detective Inspector Stephen Ambler said.
Cordons were in place at York Street while a scene examination was carried out. A scene guard was in place overnight.
"Further information will be provided proactively when it is available," Ambler said
