Two people died after a vehicle crashed into a stream in rural Wellington yesterday morning.
Emergency services including Fire and Emergency New Zealand, police and Wellington Free Ambulance were called to Mākara Rd following reports of a vehicle upside down in a body of water shortly after 8am.

Two people were found dead in the vehicle.
Inquiries into the crash are ongoing.
