It was a big night for New Zealand at yesterday's Academy Awards, taking home two Oscars at the star-studded ceremony.
Kiwi costume designer Kate Hawley claimed her first Oscar, winning Best Costume Design for her work on the movie Frankenstein.
The win adds to Hawley's growing list of accolades this season, following her recent success at the BAFTAs, where she also took home Best Costume Design for the same film.
Hawley was presented with the award by Anna Wintour and Anne Hathaway.
In a short speech, she thanked the Academy for recognising her craft and the director of Frankenstein, Guillermo del Toro.
"I'm not going to cry. Thank you for the vision and for taking us on your journey, it's been a great privilege to be part of it."

Speaking to Breakfast from Los Angeles Hawley described the win as a "nice surprise", saying she felt honored simply to be nominated alongside such respected peers.
"There's a lot of love, for all the projects, all the nominees I was with are highly respected, and have all done beautiful work," she said.
She said awards season is unpredictable, making the nomination for the award even more special.
"You always have to go in with, maybe I might, I've got a one in five chance, maybe I won't, but it's always a surprise and it was a nice surprise."
Frankenstein also won Best Make-up and Hairstyling and Best Production Design, taking home three awards after receiving nine nominations.

"The film means so much and for Guillermo, to actually have that win mean something for the entire team, it's not just one in isolation, it's pretty amazing and then you go...oh yes and it's the Oscars."
Hawley congratulated her colleagues, saying it was wonderful to see the team recognised across multiple categories.
"It's lovely when you can walk forward with your colleagues and it's realistic, what we were doing was working together, you're not one without the other."
Hawley wasn't the only Kiwi celebrating on the night.
New Zealand based creative Wētā FX, led by Joe Letteri, Eric Saindon and Daniel Barrett, also took home an Oscar for Best Visual Effects, for their work on Avatar: Fire and Ash, directed by James Cameron.
