Two patched Mongrel Mob members have been arrested after police seized stolen vehicles, drugs, firearms and cash during raids across Canterbury.
Detective Senior Sergeant Damon Wells said police executed a series of search warrants over the past two weeks at properties linked to Mongrel Mob gang members in Christchurch and North Canterbury.
Several thousand dollars in methamphetamine, several firearms, and ammunition were located and seized.

Police uncovered what was described as a "chop shop", recovering several stolen vehicles. A chop shop was typically a workshop where stolen vehicles could be dismantled to sell as parts, or reassembled without identification markings.
Another five vehicles were seized through the courts due to unpaid fines.
Two patched Mongrel Mob members were arrested and remanded in custody.

A 34-year-old and a 29-year-old were due to appear in the Christchurch District Court in the coming weeks.
Both faced charges relating to driving matters, possession of methamphetamine for supply, possession of cannabis, and unlawful possession of ammunition.
