A police operation is underway in the Auckland suburb of Papakura following an incident that left a person moderately injured this morning.
St John were called to Clevedon Rd at 11.24am on Saturday, responding with two ambulances, a rapid response unit and a manager.
"Our crews assessed and treated one patient who was transported to Middlemore Hospital in a moderate condition," a St John spokesperson said.
Police confirmed to 1News an operation was underway in the area.
"We’ll provide an update as soon as we’re able," a police spokesperson said.

The police Eagle helicopter was circling the area this morning.
